This is a wonderful silver plate pickle castor complete with jar and tongs. The frame stand measure about 10 1/2" tall and almost 5" wide. The glass jar is about 4 1/4" tall without the lid, 3 1/4" at the widest. The tongs measure 7 1/2". The metal frame is simple but elegant. Glass jar look like pressed glass and has embossed flowers. Tongs has flowers in the middle, bird claws at the end. This pickle castor is in great condition, metal has no break or dent. The metal stand look like silver plated, but is not very shinny. It may need re-silver, I like the way it is. I can't find any marking. The glass jar has no chips or crack, some roughness and tiny nicks around the rim which is normal for old glass. This is an old one not a reproduction.
